Creating a Collaborative and Innovative Workspace

The new office designed by ADP Architects for Katalon in Ho Chi Minh City is a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation in the workplace. With a focus on fostering a sense of community and connectivity, the office addresses the unique collaborations among employees and supports interaction across all departments.

To cultivate agile working and support hybrid work, the new office incorporates the latest workplace trends to increase productivity. The flexible floor plan and furniture allow for easy modification based on the occupants' needs, optimizing the area and creating a dynamic and adaptable workspace.

To create a high-tech look for the Katalon office, ADP Architects prioritized the use of glass and steel combined with an industrial design language. The result is a modern and impressive space that reflects the "Tech Launch" concept and encourages pride and brand recognition.

The workspace of Katalon is divided into two zones: the external zone and the internal workstation. The external parts, including the reception area and multifunctional zones, embrace a modern, impressive, and high-tech look, creating branded visual elements throughout the space. The working station, on the other hand, is more energetic with diverse work settings and colorful designs, inspiring Katalon's employees and boosting creativity.

The project started in December 2021 and was completed in January 2022 at the Viettel Complex Building in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Throughout the design process, ADP Architects conducted thorough research, engaging in interviews, utilization studies, surveys, and social network analysis to meet Katalon's strategic objectives and create a flexible workplace that reflects the company's vision.

Despite the challenge of the office space being separated into two parts due to the elevator corridor, ADP Architects found a solution to create a united workspace that connects staff. A large multifunctional space was designed to support employee discussions, relaxation, and the organization of big events to strengthen the company culture. The other part serves as the workstation where staff fulfills their tasks with a variety of facilities, tools, and equipment.

The Katalon Ho Chi Minh office by ADP Architects has been recognized for its excellence and creativity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that demonstrate outstanding creativity and resourcefulness, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology. The office design contributes to quality of life improvements, making the world a better place.
